Outsider Review - the Best Changing Robe Out There and It’s Irish!

Outsider.ie review our new collection of long sleeve changing robes

"Changing robes have become somewhat of a hot topic in the past number of years. While some old-school swimmers see them as something for yuppies, the majority have realised they are an essential piece of kit for those looking to brave the Irish or Atlantic Sea year-round. We recently got our hands on the newly updated Coucon Changing Robe and we are happy to report that we think we’ve found the best changing robe on the market."

Good luck to Katie Mullan, Irish Hockey Team Captain, for the Summer Olympics in Japan. She may not need her Coucon robe in Japan, but she sure needs it now in her final preparations for the games.
Come on Ireland, Couconoutdoor are right behind you.

John Bishop stopped at Portrush and had a swim with the Arcadia Bathing Club. While he was visiting, he was presented with a Coucon robe, full zip version, to help with the extreme conditions. 8 degrees of chilly Northern Ireland water. John was game and spent quite a bit of time in the water and out chatting to the locals. Thanks again John for promoting our little patch of Northern Ireland and we hope you enjoy your Coucon robe designed and made in North Antrim.

We have made a design change to our luxury robe. The Coucon Robe now has internal snug pockets, somewhere to keep your hands warm when conditions become colder. Just a little additional comfort, as we at Couconoutdoor are active participants in outdoor living activity and lifestyle.

Couconoutdoor is a small growing business who make their product in Northern Ireland. It is hand made with care and we are limited to the amount of product we can produce. Unlike our competitors who manufacture in Asia and import. We intend to continue manufacture in Northern Ireland as we are passionate and proud to say "Designed and made in Ireland.". Based on limited supply, but quality service, and value is our goal. Please continue to support this local business who are now supplying UK and Europe.

Outsider Magazine reviews the Coucon luxury robe, and acknowledges that the robe is born and manufactured in Northern Ireland. The magazine, which has a massive Irish following will make Ireland aware of the presence of this sports robe, essential for outdoor living, for young, old and even the disabled, who are buying the product more and more. From camping to caravaning, from swimming to skiing, this is a must have piece of kit. Get wet... get warm. Cool in a Coucon.

Owen Weymouth, Red Bull professional cliff diver, joins the Couconoutdoor team as our brand ambassador. We are very pleased to have Owen as our brand representative and wearing our luxury robe at all major cliff diving competitions around the world.

Owen Weymouth, is from Plymouth, England. He started platform diving at the age of six in his hometown and has since achieved four English national titles. Weymouth decided to turn his attention to professional cliff diving when his dream of making the Olympic games in 10-meter diving was becoming too far fetched. He balanced a six-day training week with full time education and studied with the ambition of going to medical school. His breakthrough came in 2016 after a very successful amateur season which led to invitations to his first major events in the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and FINA World Championships. Owen is the youngest professional cliff diver in the world and is currently ranked 17th in the global standings. Having represented Great Britain in 9 countries across 3 continents, his Olympic dream is looking brighter as High Diving is in contention to make an appearance in the 2024 games in Paris.
